Pat Blake, Partner

Pat Blake brings more than 15 years of experience advising global companies on their service delivery strategies. She has extensive knowledge and insight of organizations in the sourcing marketplace from working on some of the largest and most complex strategic initiatives in the industry. An accomplished architect of service-delivery operating models for shared services, Ms. Blake has led numerous assessments and transactions to help clients increase efficiency and reduce costs. In addition to providing strategic counsel within the firm's shared services practice, she also manages the unique 'alliance' relationship between ScottMadden and TPI. Prior to joining ScottMadden, Ms. Blake served as partner and managing director with TPI, where she led multi-function initiatives, covering the complete sourcing life cycle of information technology, knowledge process, and business process outsourcing.

  • Led strategic workshops on designing service delivery alternatives that would improve overall operational performance, including cost structure
  • Assisted a consumer products corporation to align their shared services operations with a new global service delivery model, including the design and implementation of service definitions, governance, organization structure and staffing, cost tracking and billing, balanced scorecard, and service level agreements
  • Developed strategic plans for the areas of business process, knowledge processing, and infrastructure outsourcing for several large corporations in the gas and oil, financial services, manufacturing, consumer products, and transportation industries
  • Led a merger integration initiative for a financial services client which included outsourcing and re-sourcing a very large ITO agreement
  • Served as counsel to a number of senior executives on alignment of service delivery models with corporate strategies for enhanced competitiveness
  • Managed multiple outsourcing initiatives, including human resource administrative and back office operations processing, for a large multi-national financial institution. Support included assessment, RFI/RFP development, provider evaluation, selection, contract development/negotiation, and implementation support
  • Designed a future state shared services organization and developed an implementation plan for the finance and accounting function of a leading consumer products company
  • Led the outsourcing of human resource administrative functions for a technology services company
  • Designed a future state services delivery organization and supporting infrastructure for a global manufacturing company
  • Directed outsourcing programs for several large government-owned facilities
  • Led an engagement for regional energy company that developed and negotiated a commercial framework (offshore master services agreement and statements of work) for key business processes and application maintenance
  • Developed and negotiated service level agreements for multiple KPO and BPO initiatives, covering areas such as engineering, warranty management, accounting and HR functions, and supply chain operations
