Jason Davis, Director

Jason Davis is a director with nine years of consulting experience, specializing in shared services, operations improvement, process redesign, and regulatory support. He has worked with a variety of clients to assess, design, and implement financial shared services centers. Prior to joining ScottMadden, Mr. Davis worked at AGL Resources in gas distribution, operations, LNG plant engineering, and gas supply. He earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a B.S. from Furman University and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University.

• Designed and implemented a financial shared services organization for a leading furniture manufacturer. Implementation involved new process design, organization redesign, change management, and a new customer call center
• Conducted a current state assessment of a defense contractor's international shared services operation. Assessment focused on accounting and human resources processes that support international business units
• Refined services, pricing, and cost tracking methods for a shared services organization in a major energy company. Identified products and services for finance and IT functions, and created tools needed to track costs
• Implemented a financial shared services organization for a major entertainment company. Designed and staffed a new organization, designed a customer service center, developed a performance management plan, and created service level agreements
• Conducted a current state assessment of a multi-function shared services organization at a large midwestern energy company. Identified improvement initiatives and a business case for implementation
• Led the development and administration of customer satisfaction surveys for several shared services organizations
• Facilitated the design and selection of technologies for a human resources service center in an electronics manufacturing company
• Designed and implemented new processes for a human resources services center in an international chemical company
• Developed financial analyses and created supporting testimony to support a rate case filing for a large midwestern gas utility
