Christina Krebs, Director

Christina Krebs joined ScottMadden in 2002. She specializes in HR shared services design/ implementation and outsourcing advisory and has managed numerous organization redesign, process improvement, systems implementation, and vendor selection projects for energy utilities, automotive, and healthcare industries. Ms. Krebs earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Florida State University and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she was a Fuqua Fellow. Prior to attending business school, Ms. Krebs was a consulting reservoir engineer with Shell Oil Company.

  • Managed the implementation of a new HR service center for a global automotive company. The project included process redesign, standardization of policies, and knowledge base development
  • Managed the vendor selection process for a global energy company. Selected vendors, developed the RFI/RFP, managed the proposal review period, and analyzed the financial status of vendors
  • Helped a leading healthcare company develop and implement a new HR shared services delivery model. Designed new organization structures, identified role responsibilities, developed a selection process and job descriptions for the new roles, redesigned processes to support the new organizations, and provided general project management support. Developed a detailed business case for implementing the model throughout the enterprise
  • Managed the business analysis phase of a system implementation for two functional areas—payroll and time/labor—at a global energy company. The project included redesigning processes across HR, managing the project to contract, and designing/managing the user-acceptance testing for the client
  • Helped a global energy company select a new HRIS and payroll system. The assignment included analyzing vendor responses and facilitating functional and technical scoring sessions of the vendors’ RFP responses, as well as developing a detailed business case for the system’s purchase and implementation
  • Assisted in managing an HR merger integration project for a global pharmaceutical’s Puerto Rican-based manufacturing division. Managed the transition from an existing shared services HR delivery model to a new outsourced model. Helped implement a new HRIS, redesigned processes, and served as interim project lead for the call center integration and launch. Assisted launching a new time and attendance system
  • Performed a site selection analysis for a global logistics company interested in establishing a central IT shared services center and three satellite locations. Analyzed locations around the world focusing on available infrastructure, the cost of doing business, and intellectual property, then presented recommendations
  • Performed a site selection analysis for a global logistics company seeking to establish a financial shared services center in North America. Recommended final location based on available infrastructure, cost of doing business, intellectual property, and current operating locations
