ScottMadden conducts workshops at Shared Services Week for beginners and experienced operations
ScottMadden’s experienced shared services consultants provided two interactive workshops at Shared Services Week. Workshops were targeted for both new and experienced shared services practitioners.
The Fundamentals and Case Studies for Designing, Building and Implementing a Shared Services Operation
This full-day workshop was designed for those who are at the beginning of their shared services journey. Topics covered the broad range of issues organizations need to address as they begin to implement their SSO–from building the business case to designing the implementation plan. A combination of exercises, discussions of key SSO concepts, and case study examinations were covered. The workshop featured three case studies on getting started in shared services: Simmons (technology selection), Hospital Corporation of America (business case for shared services), and NASA (customer relationship program).
