ScottMadden Announces Jim Murray as New Partner
RALEIGH, NC (April 15, 2008) – ScottMadden, Inc. announced today that James H. Murray has joined the firm as a partner in the energy practice. Jim Murray has more than 30 years consulting experience, working with electric and gas utilities, regulatory agencies, and manufacturing, construction, energy, and process-based companies. He has a deep understanding of the complexities of today’s changing operating environments and can leverage his expertise in asset management, business planning, technology, and process redesign to achieve excellent business results.
Jim rejoined ScottMadden, having been a principal with the firm from 1985-1996. Before joining ScottMadden, he led the Houston consulting practice for (then) Arthur Young. Prior to rejoining ScottMadden, he led the utilities consulting practice for IBM and was vice president, Energy and Utilities for SAIC.

Mr. Murray earned a B.S. and masters in industrial engineering from Oklahoma State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma and Texas.
