ScottMadden Promotes Jere "Jake" Jacobi to Partner
RALEIGH, NC (February 28, 2006) – ScottMadden, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Jake Jacobi to partner. Jacobi brings more than 30 years of energy industry experience to his new role.
Prior to being named partner, Jacobi served as director at ScottMadden specializing in the firm's energy practice area. Jacobi has led engagements in strategic assessment, enterprise asset management, transmission/RTO management, work force management, process reengineering, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business model assessment.
"Jake brings extensive industry knowledge and many years of consulting experience to ScottMadden. He has proven to be an exceptional member of our energy team and has the integrity and work ethic we look for in new members to our partner group," said Brad Kitchens, president and CEO of ScottMadden.
Before joining ScottMadden, Jacobi was employed by Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte Consulting, Wisconsin Energy Corporation, Stone & Webster Engineering, and the United States Navy. He received a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
