ScottMadden Prepares for the Future with Changes to the Leadership Team

ScottMadden’s primary objectives include serving its clients and supporting its consultants, staff, and communities. Part of that support is having practice area leaders who understand the core business and the industries of focus for ScottMadden. Another key to success is passing the torch to new leaders and evolving as the firm grows.

As of October 1, 2024, longtime consultant and energy practice leader, Cristin Lyons, will step down. Lyons has served the firm well as a leader for two decades and has been a driving force for the involvement of women in the energy industry.

The new leader of the energy practice will be Andy Flores. Flores has led client initiatives in ScottMadden’s energy and corporate & shared services practices since joining the firm in 2005. Since 2023, he has led the firm’s enterprise & specialized services practice.

Brad DeMent, a partner in the firm’s corporate & shared services practice for decades, will take over the enterprise & specialized services practice area. Brad has been with ScottMadden since 1998 and will lead teams to develop specialized services that augment the firm’s traditional consulting capabilities, particularly as it pertains to generative AI.

Jerred Crosby will remain ScottMadden’s corporate & shared services practice leader and Courtney Jackson will continue leading the firm’s internal corporate functions.
