[Raleigh, NC] – [12/13/2024] – ScottMadden today announces the retirement of Cristin Lyons, partner and former Energy Practice Leader, marking the culmination of an extraordinary career spanning over two decades.
Since joining ScottMadden in 1999, Lyons has been instrumental in helping energy clients transform critical aspects of the energy system – particularly in electric transmission and the grid edge.
“Cristin has been a visionary leader since the day she joined the firm over 25 years ago,” said Brad Kitchens, CEO. “Many of us have routinely looked to her for guidance and advice. Her dedication to her clients has set a high standard, and it is a standard that is well established throughout the energy practice of the firm.”
Throughout her career, Lyons has been a frequent speaker and panelist at conferences across the United States. Her work has not only advanced ScottMadden’s mission but also helped shape the broader energy industry landscape. Reflecting on her career, Lyons stated: “I have had the privilege to work side by side with some of the most talented people in this industry, both within ScottMadden and at our clients. I look forward to seeing the next generation of leaders continue this important work.”
Lyons will officially retire on December 31st. As she steps away from her day-to-day responsibilities, she plans to stay connected to the industry.
