Ryan Arrieta rejoined ScottMadden in 2021, providing services to both utilities and government agencies. Prior to rejoining the firm, Ryan was Vice President of Corporate & Strategic Planning with the Puerto Rico Aqueduct & Sewer Authority (PRASA). He was responsible for the oversight and governance of various departments, including information technology, continuous education, nonrevenue water, and special projects associated with PRASA’s fiscal plan in coordination with the fiscal oversight and management board. Ryan also spearheaded all coordination with local and federal government agencies, including FEMA, in the response and recovery efforts following Hurricanes Irma and Maria. During his previous tenure with ScottMadden, he specialized in project management, process analysis and improvement, and organization design across several industries, including utilities, higher education, and consumer packaged goods. Additional experience includes having worked with various heavy-civil works, construction management, and real estate development firms within the United States and Puerto Rico. Ryan received an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and earned a B.S. and an M.S. in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ryan is a licensed professional engineer and is fluent in Spanish.
